Measuring in
Around your head, along the hairline, above the ears.
Front hairline, over the crown, to the nape.
Top of one ear, across the top, to the other.

Enter your head circumference to see your cap size. It's the one measurement that decides fit: a soft tape around your head along the front hairline, just above your ears and round the nape bone at the back, snug but not tight.

Average / mediumAround 22–22.5″ · 55–58 cmWhat almost every listing means by "average size". Straps add about an inch either side.
Large23″ and up · 59 cm and aboveUp to about 23.5″, straps usually cover it. Beyond that, check before buying.

How to measure

Use a soft tape, over flat hair or a wig cap, the way the wig will actually sit. Circumference is the one that matters most: around your head along the front hairline, above your ears, and round the nape bone at the back, snug but not tight. Our guide to measuring your head for a wig has diagrams for all three measurements, and what to do when a listing doesn't give a size.
