What do I need for my first wig?

Wig caps, a grip band, an elastic (melt) band, a wide-tooth comb, a wig stand, gentle shampoo and conditioner, and a satin bonnet. A leave-in conditioner and a mask can wait a month.

Do I need wig glue or tape?

Not to start. A well-fitted glueless wig with a grip band and an elastic band stays put without adhesive, which is easier on your edges and quicker to take off.
